Ferrari SP275 RW Competizione officially detailed with F12 TdF heart

Ferrari has released details of its F12-based bespoke SP275 RW Competizione this week, after it was revealed at an event at Daytona earlier this month.

The bright yellow supercar was created by a cashed-up buyer and Ferrari's Special Program division, and is based on the already manic F12.

Under the bonnet is the uprated version of the 6.3-litre V12 engine used in the special-edition F12 Tdf, developing 574kW of power and 705Nm of torque.

Performance specifications are still under wraps, but the F12 TdF can sprint from 0-100km/h in 2.9 seconds and 0-200km/h in 7.9 seconds. The F12 TdF's top speed is rated at 340km/h.

In terms of the car's styling, it's reported that Ferrari used the iconic 275 GTB as inspiration, hence the SP275 name.

Pricing for the custom-made Ferrari is still to be revealed, though it's believed the wealthy American dentist who owns the SP275 RW Competizione paid seven figures - starting with a number larger than one.
