McLaren 570S ‘Track Pack’ revealed

The McLaren 570S Track Pack has been announced, designed for both the road and the race track.

Following the 570S Design Edition revealed a couple of weeks ago, the Track Pack is inspired by the company's success in GT3 and GT4 racing categories, the racy upgrade package includes a 12mm higher rear wing - adding 29kg of downforce at 150mph (241km/h) - along with a Dark Palladium roof and a stealth-finish sports exhaust.

Inside, the use of lightweight components reduces the weight of the 570S by 25kg, thanks to Alcantara trim for the new carbon-fibre seats, along with the dashboard and steering wheel. Further weight reductions include the stealth-finish super-lightweight alloy wheels.

Also included with the 16,500 pound ($28,116) Track Pack is the McLaren Track Telemetry System, which is used in the 675LT special and P1TM, which provides real-time information like lap times, sector splits, comparisons between drivers, post-drive analysis and data-logging with graphical plots of vehicle speed and lap-time deltas.

Australia

Speaking to CarAdvice, McLaren's local arm confirmed the 570S Track Pack will be available in Australia from the second quarter of 2017. Pricing is still to be confirmed.
