2017 BMW M760Li xDrive detailed for Australia: $419,000 starting price for sporty flagship limousine

The sport-luxe BMW M760Li xDrive has been confirmed for the Australian market this week, and will start from $419,000 plus on-road costs when it arrives in showrooms from the second quarter of next year.

Powered by a massive twin-turbocharged 6.6-litre V12, the flagship BMW 7 Series produces 448kW and 800Nm and sprints from 0-100km/h in just 3.7 seconds.

Fuel consumption is rated at 12.6L/100km on the combined cycle.

Drive is sent to all four wheels (for the first time in Australia) via an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Standard equipment includes BMW Night Vision with pedestrian recognition, rear entertainment system, ventilated and massaging seats, a 16-speaker Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround sound system, BMW Laserlight headlights, ceramic control surrounds and a choice of BMW Individual exterior, interior and trim finishes.

Other features fitted as standard are an BMW M sports exhaust, adaptive driving modes, 20-inch M light alloy wheels with 19-inch disc brakes, surround camera system, four-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, gesture control and a head-up display.

Buyers who want an even more plush experience with their M760Li xDrive can option the Model V12 Excellence package, which trades the sporty M Performance look of the ‘standard’ model and more luxurious appointments.

The Model V12 Excellence package BMW Individual 20-inch W-spoke alloy wheels in a high-gloss polished finish, a unique front bumper design, new rear bumper with chrome highlights, black front and rear brake calipers, chrome ‘V12’ badging on the C-pillars and chrome ‘xDrive’ badging on the exterior.

Inside, the option package sees the addition of BMW fine-wood trim throughout the interior, including on the roof handle inlays, centre cupholder trim and rear seatbelt outlets.

Hi-pile rear floor mats add “another layer of luxury”, while other highlights include an Alcantara headliner, BMW Individual leather steering wheel with wooden inlays and ‘V12’-branded aluminium door inlays add to the luxe theme.

Like all BMW models, the M760Li xDrive is covered by the company’s Condition Based Servicing schedule, that relies on an array of sensors and algorithms that monitor the conditions in which the vehicle is used including mileage, time elapsed since its last service, fuel consumption and how a vehicle is driven.
