Now available with satellite navigation, the upgraded Camry RZ is limited to just 700 units nationally and is priced $29,190 plus on-road costs – $2700 more than the Altise grade on which it’s based and $700 more than the sold-out RZ special edition offered earlier this year.
In addition to the 7.0-inch touchscreen satellite navigation system, the Camry RZ also gains a six-speaker sound system, DAB+ digital radio and voice recognition.
Like the model of the same name offered earlier this year, the Camry RZ comes equipped with 18-inch gloss-black alloy wheels with low-profile tyres, sports suspension, dual exhaust system and unique gloss-black exterior highlights.
Thanks to the upgraded exhaust system, the Camry RZ produces an extra 2kW and 4Nm from its 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, which now boasts outputs of 135kW and 235Nm.
Front and rear parking sensors are also standard, along with RZ decals on the lower rear door and bootlid.
Inside, the Camry RZ features dual-zone climate control, three-spoke steering wheel, RZ front floor mats, keyless entry and keyless start.
Five colours are available, two solid (diamond white or cherry) at no extra cost, while three premium hues (silver pearl, graphite metallic and eclipse black mica) command a $450 premium.
Like all Camry models, the RZ comes fitted with seven airbags, a rear-view camera, stability and traction control, ABS with brake assist and electronic brakeforce distribution – helping it to achieve a five-star ANCAP safety rating.
