2017 Suzuki S-Cross confirmed for Australia, launching November
The updated and facelifted 2017 Suzuki S-Cross has been confirmed for the Australian market, and will launch locally on November 22.
Few details have been released regarding local specifications, though Suzuki has confirmed all S-Cross variants in Australia will be offered with the 1.4-litre Boosterjet turbo petrol engine available in the Vitara S Turbo, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
Under the hood of the Vitara SUV, the 1.4-litre turbo unit produces 103kW of power at 5500rpm and 220Nm of torque between 1500 and 4000rpm.
Images of the facelifted Suzuki S-Cross were first revealed in European press images in July, with the updated model featuring a new face, revised rear and numerous infotainment and trim updates inside the cabin.
Headlining the interior upgrades is a new 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system from the Vitara and Baleno, which also offers Apple CarPlay compatibility.
Final pricing and specifications will be revealed closer to the car's launch in November.
