Mitsubishi ASX, Lancer, Outlander recalled for transmission fix:: 31,900 vehicles affected

Mitsubishi has issued a recall for 31,965 of its current-generation Lancer, ASX and Outlander vehicles built between 2015 and 2016 equipped with the continuously-variable transmission over concerns the vehicles could experience an unexpected loss of power.

The Japanese manufacturer reports that the affected vehicles may, in certain driving conditions, experience a delay in acceleration.

If the condition occurs, this could potentially cause an accident.
