Hyundai Elantra gets ARK street-racer treatment for SEMA
Revealed ahead of SEMA 2016 in Las Vegas, the ARK Road Racer Elantra concept receives a number of mechanical and styling upgrades to give it that Fast and Furious look.
Key modifications under the bonnet include a custom ARK turbo kit with an Xcargot XT26 turbocharger, ARK downpipe and GRiP exhaust system, a Turbosmart blow-off valve and wastegate.
Despite the upgrades, the company doesn’t quote any power, torque, or performance figures, likely withholding those details until the big unveiling.
ARK has made numerous modifications to the Elantra’s suspension, including its own branded coil-over system, front strut tower bar, front and rear performance anti-roll bars and front big brake kit.

The tuning firm has also added its own wide-body kit, and light alloy wheels wrapped in Nitto Tire NT05 summer tyres.
A Fiere Customs full vinyl wrap gives the ARK Elantra its matte grey finish - although we are, for now, looking at a conceptual rendering of the final product.
Inside, the show car features a specialty crafted diamond-stitched interior and a custom sport steering wheel by ARK.
ARK's take on the Hyundai Elantra will join fellow tuner Bisimoto's monster 775kW Hyundai Santa Fe at the 2016 SEMA show.
The 2016 SEMA show will take place from 1-4 November at the Las Vegas Convention Centre.
