Bentley bringing back full-service refuelling… to wherever you are

If being a Bentley owner already wasn’t lavish enough, the company has now commenced a trial for an on-demand 24-hours fuel delivery service in California.

Partnering with US start-up company, Filld - a mobile app-based fuel delivery service - the sports luxury marque has commenced its ‘Filld for Bentley’ trial, part of its on-going connected car strategy.

The aim is to give owners the “ultimate time-saving luxury of never having to search for or stop at a fuel station again”.

Controlled via the Filld for Bentley smartphone app, customers are able to choose a delivery time and their fuel will be delivered to their chosen location.

Filled for Bentley also represents the company’s first foray into connected-car integration, with owners not even needing to unlock the fuel cap themselves, or identify their vehicle’s exact location - all of this is done through the service.

Christophe Georges, Bentley’s director of product and marketing, said: “Bentley ownership is about more than just the vehicle – it’s the entire luxury experience”.

“We are continuously investigating ways in which to offer our customers tailored, convenient, smart services that afford them the greatest luxury of all: more time.”

“Our Connected Car strategy will continue to expand and innovate in order to further enhance the Bentley lifestyle,” he added.

The Filled for Bentley trial will initially be available solely to customers in California.

Bentley is yet to detail its plans for a wider rollout, though this will likely be determined based on the success of the initial trial.
