BMW X1 Lego scale model built for charity

One of the most famous toys in the world is Lego, everyone at some stage in their life has played with it, as a child or as a parent. Lego has made a guest appearance at BMW Welt in Munich.

800 children spent four days to put together a true to scale model of a BMW X1 using 165,000 LEGO bricks. Resulting in a bright yellow BMW X1.

BMW Welt will be donating money to the children's charity “Die Arche” in Munich. For every Lego block used in the X1 construction they will donate an amount of money. Totaling several thousand Euros to help children from underprivileged families.

The model will be on display at BMW Welt until November 25.
