This week, Paul Maric and Mandy Turner are joined by Mike Costello to cover all the latest news and reviews in the Australian new-car market and around the world.

As always, expect shenanigans.

What happened in this week's episode?

In the news this week, Hyundai unveiled its all-new i30 hatch, Audi showed off its new-generation A5 Sportback models, Land Rover offered a first look at its big new Discovery, and Peugeot revealed its first large seven-seat SUV with the redesigned 5008.

From China, the new Haval H6 SUV went on sale in Australia this week, as did its load-hauling cousin, the Great Wall Steed.

Lastly, and at long last, Toyota's new sports coupe - hopefully to be called Supra - was spied testing in Germany this week. Here it comes!

Counting machine Costello runs us through the August figures for Australia's new-car sales race, and the team goes through the top reader comments of the week.

On the reviews front, we chat about the new Subaru Levorg and how it stacks up against another speedy wagon, the Skoda Octavia RS.

And, perhaps most importantly, we're joined by CarAdvice reader and commenter extraordinaire, Harrington to tell us about his guest review of the Mercedes-Maybach S600.
