Cadillac teases concept car interior with curved OLED displays

Cadillac has teased the interior of a new concept car that it will unveil later this week at Monterey Car Week.

The concept car's interior will feature at least three free-standing curved OLED displays on the dashboard. The screen in front of the driver features a speedometer, navigation, and other functions typically associated with the instrument cluster.

Behind and to the side of that screen are two more curved OLED screens that can show navigation or smartphone data, as well as blend in seamlessly with the display in front of it.

According to Cadillac, the concept's display technology was developed in conjunction with LG Electronics, and is being engineered "for a future Cadillac production vehicle".

In recent years Cadillac has tried to up its in-cabin technology game, with many of its models now featuring capacitive dashboard buttons and the largely unloved Vue infotainment system.

The brand has also debuted new tech features, including surround view cameras with recording capability and a live streaming wide-angle rear-view mirror.
