Nissan Juke, Navara recalled for warning light fix – 2500 vehicles affected
Nissan has issued a recall for its ‘F15’ Juke SUV and ‘D23’ Navara ute over concerns the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) or engine warning light may not illuminate as required.
According to the manufacturer, the malfunction/warning light doesn’t illuminate when the exhaust system sensor fails.
In affected vehicles, the driver may not be aware when there has been a malfunction in the exhaust system, which does not comply with regulations.
The VIN ranges for the 1965 affected Jukes fall between SJNFA*f15a7025110 to SJNFA*F15A7247792, while 668 affected Navaras are between the ranges MNT*A2D23A0000002 to MNT*A2D23A0000645. Not all vehicles in these ranges are included in the recall.
Owners of the affected Jukes and Navaras are encouraged to contact their local Nissan dealer to arrange the software upgrade that will rectify the issue, which will be carried out free of charge.
