Our friends at Unique Car Rentals and Driver Dynamics have joined forces to offer the supercar experience we all dream of – punting some of the world's most exotic metal around a racetrack, without fear of losing one's licence.
A collaboration between two of CarAdvice’s besties, the just-launched ‘Super Car Track Experience’ combines Unique Car Rentals’ high-end performance car fleet with a Level 3 Driver Dynamics High Performance Driver Training day.
Taking place at Melbourne’s 3.1-kilometre Sandown Raceway – famous for its 900m-odd front and back straights – the Super Car Track Experience puts you behind the wheel of six supercars, with no speed limits to worry about.
As part of the package, you also get your own personal professional racing instructor alongside you to ensure you get the most out of each and every car you drive.
A total of six Super Car Track Experience sessions will be split throughout the day – three in the morning, three in the afternoon – with drivers assured of quality seat time in two cars per session.
Although novice to advanced drivers are accommodated for, all drivers must be aged 30 years or above and hold a valid and full Australian driver’s licence (no probationary drivers permitted). Unique Car Rentals also reserves the right to conduct breath tests for participating drivers, with a 0.00 per cent blood alcohol concentration (BAC) mandatory.
Normally priced at $3995, Unique Car Rentals is offering an introductory package price of $3000 for its Super Car Track Experience – with a $5000 credit card pre-authorisation (hold) required on the day, "released provided the car is not damaged".
