2017 Holden Colorado facelift revealed, on sale September 1

Thanks to concepts at this year's Bangkok motor show and April's update to the South American Chevrolet S10, the look of the heavily revised Holden Colorado shouldn't be a surprise for regular readers.

The bulk of the changes have been made to ute's front end, where there's a new a pair headlights, a more aggressive bumper design, and a new interpretation of Chevrolet's 'twin-port' grille.

To go along with the revised exterior, the Colorado's dashboard has been completely redesigned with stronger horizontal lines and higher quality materials.

All Australia-bound 2017 Colorado trucks will include a 7.0- or 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with DAB+ digital radio reception, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone mirroring compatibility.

Also standard throughout the range is a reversing camera.

Tech available in higher-spec models will extend to satellite navigation, built-in voice recognition, front parking sensors, lane departure warning, forward collision alert, and remote window activation.

Holden has also beefed up the Colorado's accessories list to include a safari bar, wheel arch flares, 18-inch alloy wheels, all-terrain tyres, and LED driving lights.

Also available will be styling items inspired by the Colorado Xtreme concept vehicle, which was unveiled at the Bangkok motor show in March this year.

On-sale date

The facelifted Colorado will enter Holden dealerships from September 1. Pricing and specifications will be announced closer to that time.
