Jeep Renegade prices cut – again!
The entry-point to the Jeep range remains the Renegade Sport, which is now priced from $26,000 plus on-road costs for the 1.6-litre petrol four-cylinder, five-speed manual model, while the 1.4-litre turbo six-speed auto model now attracts a smaller premium than it did in the past, priced from $28,000 plus on-road costs (previously, it was $3000 more). In fact, the Sport auto is the big mover, with the others shifting down in smaller increments.

There aren't any additional bits of equipment fitted to the Renegade range - rather, this is more of a revision to the pricing to try and get more buyers interested. In fact, the Sport manual model (pictured below) is being promoted right now at $26,000 drive-away - pretty sharp.
Here's what Jeep's local arm had to say about the changes:
"FCA Australia has been working collaboratively with the Jeep dealer network to secure an even more compelling price point for the Renegade," a statement from the company read.
When the Renegade launched back in October 2015, it was priced as follows: Sport 1.6 man - $29,500; Sport 1.4T auto -$32,500; Longitude 1.4T auto - $34,500; Limited 1.4T auto - $38,500; Trailhawk 2.4 auto - $41,500. This pricing was then revised in January 2016 to the levels you see in the table above.
