The 2007-08 Audi A8 limousine optioned with the solar sunroof is being recalled over concerns the glass panel of the roof could come loose.
According to the Audi, the seven cars being recalled may have a glass panel that is insufficiently bonded to the sliding sunroof frame due to a manufacturing fault.
There is a potential for the glass panel to become loose while driving, which poses a significant risk to other road users should it detach.
Affected A8s were built from April 2007 to June 2008. As previously mentioned, seven vehicles are affected by this recall.
Owners of the recalled vehicles will be contacted by Audi Australia, with customers advised to contact their local dealer for inspection
