According to the manufacturer, the air-conditioning system’s drain tube is misaligned, which could cause moisture to enter the airbag module.
Consequently, moisture in the airbag module may cause the airbags to unexpectedly deploy while driving, posing a significant risk of accident or injury.
The 363 affected Iveco Daily vehicles were manufactured from June 1 2013 to June 7 2015.
Owners of the affected vehicles will be contacted via mail by Iveco Trucks Australia, and are urged to present their Iveco Daily to their nearest Iveco dealership.
