This isn’t a promotional campaign, just us trying to offer you some interesting suggestions if you’re in the market for some new wheels.
Volkswagen Touareg 150TDI
Right now, you can get a MY16 Volkswagen Touareg 150TDI for $67,990 drive-away, meaning VW is waiving all on-road costs and saving you in the vicinity of $7000.
This base level offering of VW’s luxury SUV gets a 3.0-litre V6 turbocharged diesel engine, an eight-speed auto and 4Motion permanent all-wheel drive.
Ditto the Touareg 150TDI Element with keyless-go and an automatic tailgate, for a drive-away deal of $69,990 (that’s the usual RRP before on-roads).
Approved finance applicants also get a free extended warranty covering five years and unlimited kilometres.

Peugeot 308 Access
The Peugeot 308 is a great little car, a fine alternative to the VW Golf if you want to be a little different. And if you’re keen, there’s no time like the present.
You can pick one up at the moment for $22,990 drive-away with a six-speed automatic transmission matched to the standard 96kW/230Nm 1.2 turbo engine.
This is a saving of close to $3000.
Standard features include LED daytime running lights, Bluetooth and USB, a five-year/100,000km warranty and five-years/75,000km of capped-price servicing. Decent deal.

Renault Kangoo SWB manual
Got an ABN? Renault has a deal for you. You can get a SWB Kangoo petrol with manual gearbox for $21,990 drive-away. That’s a lot of delivery van for the cash.
For this you get a five-year/200,000km warranty (includes two-year extended manufacturer warranty), three cubic metres of cargo space and a 650kg payload.
You also get dual sliding cargo doors, air conditioning, Bluetooth audio streaming and dual airbags. Annual services are also initially capped at $349 a pop.

Audi quattro event
During the Audi quattro drive sales event, you can score some factory bonuses on more than 50 models.
Many Audi quattro AWD versions (passenger and SUV alike) excluding the R8 get free registration, stamp duty and CTP, a five-year warranty and three-years/45,000km of scheduled servicing thrown in for free before June 30.
It’s not a deal maker, but it’s a good sweetener.
Isuzu MU-X LS-M 4x2
We’ve run this deal before but it remains a cracker. The base 4x2 MU-X makes a fantastic and reliable tow vehicle thanks to its 3.0-litre truck engine and automatic gearbox, and a spacious seven-person hauler.
It’s a no-frills offering, but if you need an honest toiler and don’t do hardcore off-roading, it’s a ton of car for the money — $36,990 drive-away. The recommended retail before on-roads is $40,500, so you’re saving close to $10,000 over the RRP here, not that anyone’s ever paid that amount.
