Novitec Rosso Edizione 747 revealed

Novitec Rosso, the world's leading Ferrari tuner, has yet again turned its attention to the Scuderia badge with the debut of the Edizione 747.

Beginning with the lightest and most agile model from Maranello, Novitec has added its twin-supercharger set up and the result is all in the name.

The twin-supercharged V8 engine has been boosted by 174kW to 549kW at 8500rpm with peak torque of 738Nm at 6300rpm.

Needless to say, performance has been improved dramatically, taking just 3.4 seconds to reach 100km/h, 9.4 seconds to peak 200km/h and just 22.9 seconds to reach the 300km/h mark.

With an optional set of longer gear ratios the Edizione 747 is capable of reaching a top speed of 351km/h.

While it retains its original body work, the Edizione 747 receives a special two-tone matte yellow and grey exterior finish, together with the trademark black tail lights, side indicators and reflectors.

The racing theme is continued inside the engine bay with all carbon fibre engine components in a matte finish.

The 20-inch custom wheel and tyre combination are a full one-inch larger than the production items they replace, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Cup rubber.

Novitec sports springs improve handling and lower the ride height by a rather substantial 30 millimetres - and the 430 Scuderia not exactly far from the asphalt to begin with.

To maintain some degree of practicality, Novitec also offers its front lift kit to raise the front end by 40 millimetres at the press of a button, helping to negotiate car parks and speed bumps.

Inside, the flat-bottomed Supersport steering wheel features a combination of leather and carbon fibre with matching carbon fibre shift paddles which are longer than their production counterparts.
