2017 Jaguar F-Type coupe facelift spied

The updated Jaguar F-Type coupe has been spied on the Nurburgring by our spy photographers.

If this prototype is anything to go by, the F-Type facelift won't feature a radical restyling of the sports car that went into production in 2013.

At the front end, this F-Type S prototype features LED headlights, as well as a restyled grille with a more three-dimensional frame, as well as a Jaguar badge with a red backing. The ducting to the side of the main grille seems to have been covered up with camouflage tape.

Out the back, this car doesn't seem to be sporting any changes over today's car, although we would expect to see subtly refashioned bumpers and new graphics for the LED tail-lights.

Under the skin, there should be tweaks to the supercharged V6 and V8 engines that will no doubt yield a bit more power, as well as improved fuel economy figures. Suspension and handling revisions should also feature prominently.

The tech arsenal will likely be given a suitable update, with Jaguar's latest InControl infotainment system a very strong possibility for the revised coupe and convertible.

The revised Jaguar F-Type range is expected to make its public debut in early 2017. Australian sales should follow later in the year.
