2017 Pagani Huayra Roadster bound for Monterey show – report

If you've bought a case of beer for the weekend and maybe a few extra for the road, you've now got more bottles of booze than the world has examples of the anticipated Pagani Huayra Roadster available to buy.

According to American website Autoblog, late August will bring with it the unveiling of the new roadster, debuting as a successor to the topless Zonda.

Hosting the debut will be the annual Monterey Car Week in California, in the days before the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance event on August 21.

Indeed, while interested buyers are likely to be drinking something much more sophisticated than the beers you've picked up, a stiff beverage might be the only thing they get their hands on in Monterey, with 75 of just 100 units produced apparently already sold.

Pagani’s global public relations and communications manager, Luca Venturi, also confirmed with Autoblog the car would be on display at The Quail event on August 19.

No word on when we’ll see a go-faster version of the Roadster, ala the Huayra BC, but we’re willing to bet you a martini or two there’s one in the pipeline.
