The upcoming new 2017 BMW X2 has been spied testing again this week, ahead of a world premiere that could appear around the middle of this year – if not earlier.
The so-called X2 was last caught on a sunny day in November last year, with mixed camouflage revealing its overall profile while hiding the finer details at both ends.
Spied this time in cold-weather testing, the X2 is again wrapped in familiar swirls, but its ‘sportsback’ profile is on display once more.
Unlike the larger coupe-inspired models, however, the X2 will feature a relatively practical profile with a more upright shape that should still come close to matching the cabin and cargo space figures of its X1 sibling.

A world premiere for the X2 could occur as early as March’s Geneva motor show, although an unveiling at the Paris motor show in October could also be on the cards.
Watch for more on the new X2 to surface in the weeks or months ahead.
