2016 Jeep Renegade pricing slashed by up to $2500: Cashback offer for existing owners

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Australia has today announced price reductions across the newly launched Jeep Renegade range, following a push by the company to align pricing with other models in the brand's range.

Price reductions range from $1500 to $2500, with the entry-level Renegade Sport now priced from $28,000 plus on-road costs (was $29,500) for the five-speed manual and $31,000 plus on-road costs for the six-speed dual-clutch automatic (was $32,500).

Further up the range, the Renegade Longitude has been reduced in price from $34,500 to $33,000 plus on-road costs in six-speed dual-clutch automatic form.

The biggest price reduction lays with the Renegade Limited, which is the penultimate model and benefits from a $2500 price reduction, now retailing for $36,000 (was $38,500).

Finally, the top-specification Renegade Trailhawk is now priced from $40,000 — down from $41,500.

Drive away pricing is available on Renegade Sport at $29,000 for the entry-level manual and $32,000 for the entry-level automatic.

Customers that bought a Renegade at its retail price since launch will receive money back from FCA Australia to compensate them for price variations, so buyers won't be any worse off as a result of the pricing change.

CarAdvice criticised pricing of the Renegade at its local launch, coming in much higher than competitors in its market segment.
