Kia adds some Mystique to 2016 Sportage for X-Men film

Last year we saw Kia produce a Wolverine themed Sorento to promote the X-Men: Days of Future Past film.

Another year and another X-Men movie results in another curious one-off promotional Kia.

The 2016 Kia Sportage X-Car is now themed around shape-shifting mutant Mystique and will be on display at the 2016 Australian Open Tennis tournament in Melbourne.

X-motif bumpers and aggressive cladding are paired with blue-patterned bodywork and yellow front lamp treatments to create a somewhat unique looking new Sportage.

The car is being used in global promotion of the Sportage and X-Men: Apocalypse film, using Kia spokesperson and tennis-ace, Rafael Nadal.

The all new 2016 Kia Sportage launches in Australia in mid-January and will be on display in 'non-mutant' trim alongside the X-Car at the Australian Open.
