Germany's biennial Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung (IAA) is comfortably the world's largest motor show, with a huge 881,100 visitors browsing the displays of over 1000 exhibitors in 2013.

Known to many as the Frankfurt motor show, the IAA has hosted the debut of many key global models in recent decades. In 2013, that included BMW’s unique i3 and i8, the reborn Maserati Ghibli, Porsche’s heroic 918 Spyder and the new Peugeot 308, among others.

This year’s show, the 66th Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung, promises a huge haul of its own - many that have been revealed already, and many that remain well under wraps. For now, at least…

Among those revealed in recent months are the crucial new Alfa Romeo Giulia sedan - shown in top-shelf Quadrifoglio Verde form in June - along with Audi’s new A4 mid-sizer and the new Kia Sportage.

BMW’s hotly anticipated M2 coupe is on the list of models that are yet to be unveiled, let alone confirmed, and the big new Bentley Bentayga SUV is likewise still under wraps.

What else can you expect to see when the 2015 Frankfurt motor show opens its doors to the media on September 15? Catch our full - and still growing - list of confirmed and rumoured unveilings below.
