2015 Suzuki Swift pricing and specifications

The 2015 Suzuki Swift has been released in Australia with some styling changes and line-up adjustments.

The updated version of the Swift follows only eight months after the most recent facelift of the five-door hatch, but this revision has seen the removal of the budget-friendly base model.

The entry-level GL (previously priced from $15,990) has been ousted, and is now sold as the GL Navigator, with a new touchscreen media system with sat-nav, as the name suggests. It also gains 16-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, fog lights.

However, it drops from a six-speaker sound system to a four-speaker unit.

Note: overseas left-hand-drive cabin shown.

The Swift GLX Navigator sees a range of upgrades, including gunmetal-finish 16-inch alloy wheels, a lightly revised grille, new seat upholstery with leather accents and suede door trims, and new silver interior finishes. There's also the option of a new silver paint finish.

All standard Swift models retain the same 1.4-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 70kW of power and 130Nm of torque.

The GL Navigator can be had with a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic, while the GLX Navigator is a four-speed auto only.

There's no mention of any changes to the Suzuki Swift Sport at this stage. Stay tuned for more.

GL Navigator five-speed manual: $17,990
