Brilliance BS4 set for EU market
Brilliance – China’s eighth largest vehicle manufacturer – will soon begin shipping a version of its BS4 wagon to Europe.
The BS4 wagon will be the brand's third model to go on sale in the European market following the BS4 and BS6 sedan range which have been available since late 2007.
Although the company was tight lipped about how many units would be exported, it did say that it expects to pass all European regulations - including the NCAP crash rating scheme* - by the end of this year.
“We are going through regulatory procedures currently in Europe trying to get our BS4 wagon into the market,” said a Brilliance executive in a statement.
Official pricing has not been released yet but we expect around AUD$29,000 if sedan pricing is anything to go by.
*Brilliance expects the BS4 wagon to achieve a three star NCAP rating.
