Lexus hoverboard revealed, hovers for real
Lexus has rolled hovered out another teaser for its special new hoverboard concept, ahead of a cheekily unspecified unveiling date.
The Japanese luxury marque first revealed its plans to enter the nearly non-existent field of hoverboarding last month - inspired, of course, by the same Marty McFly dreams we've all quietly held since 1989.
Lexus’s concept partners liquid nitrogen-cooled superconductors in the board with a metallic surface to hover over - primary school science class stuff, really.
This latest clip sees pro skater and now hoverboard test pilot Ross McGouran describe the experience as “starting from the very beginning”, despite being a keen skater since he was seven.
The company is, of course, cleverly milking this teaser campaign for all it’s worth, and this latest clip joins the previous video in robbing us of the desperately desired action footage.
So, we wait.
