2010 Mercedes-Benz SLS spy pics

The tin-topped SLS coupé  – of which official pictures have just leaked – is expected to be introduced at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, with a limited run of sales for a period of two years.

However, here’s the first shots ever of the soft-top variant of the SLS. Unlike the upcoming coupé’s gullwing doors, the convertible will have a more traditional entry, as well as an SLR-like powered soft-top.

Time-wise, we’re not expecting this version of the SLS to be launched for nearly two years, but we’re expecting this to be just the beginning of our photo exposé.

We’re hearing horsepower estimates in the 550-650 range (approx. 480kW), with power expected to come from a forced-induction V8, or maybe even a V10.
