Mercedes-AMG GT :: Hardcore, possible Black Series prototype spied testing

An aggressive looking Mercedes-AMG GT prototype has been spotted testing at the Nurburgring, hinting at a possible Black Series edition of the sports coupe.

This supports comments made by Mercedes-Benz at the Detroit Motor show in January this year, that the new AMG-GT range will spawn multiple models.

Sporting a low front splitter and canards — on both the bumper and front fender — flared arches and a giant rear wing, the prototype ticks all the usual boxes for the hard-edged Black Series cars.

The spy images also hint at bigger brakes, and given the 'standard' AMG GT S has 375kW, we wouldn't be surprised to see the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series tip in over the 400kW mark.
