The La Finale, as with other open-top Grand Sport Vitesse models, features an 8.0-litre W16 engine mounted behind the passenger cell. It sends a mammoth 883kW (1200PS) of power and 1500Nm of torque to all four wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Flat out and in the right conditions, the W16 motor can propel the Veyron La Finale from 0-100km/h in 2.6 seconds and onwards to a top speed of 410km/h.
The design of the La Finale was completed in-house with the input of the purchaser of the vehicle. The colour scheme, red and black, concocted for the La Finale is based on that used for the first Veyron.
Although the basic colours are shared between the two cars, the La Finale has been finished with quite different hues and techniques compared to the original car. Both the black and red paints used on the La Finale's exterior allow the panels' carbonfibre pattern to be seen quite clearly.
Unlike many Veyrons, the La Finale has its name incorporated into the paint scheme — most obviously underneath one of its headlights, and more subtly on the underside of the car's dynamic rear wing.
The La Finale features a two-tone red and beige interior, with La Finale embroidered onto the head rests. The rear panel between the rear seats features a version of the Bugatti elephant emblem done in red exposed carbonfibre.
Both the first and the last Veyrons produced for sale will be on display at Bugatti's stand at the 2015 Geneva motor show.
