Late last week, Nissan issued its first official photo of the Sway concept. Artfully shot with plenty of shadows, it was easy to see that the Sway was a Micra-sized hatchback with tiny wing mirrors, LED headlights and the company's now mandatory U-shaped grille.
The new shots give us a clearer look at the concept's detailing and side profile. Like the new Murano SUV, the Sway features a character crease that sweeps up from the bonnet and front wings, before diving into the front door and then rising again towards the rear.
Mimicking the next-generation American Maxima, the Sway also features a window line that turns sharply upwards prior to the C-pillar before falling away dramatically.
According to Nissan, the Sway gives the world a "glimpse at how a future generation of small Nissan models could look if the company’s striking new design language was applied to a European hatchback".
The Sway will be revealed in full at the Geneva motor show, which begins this week.
