Based on the off-road capable Jeep Renegade Trailhawk model, the Hard Steel show car is finished off in a paint scheme that's meant to evoke the look of brushed steel.
Hitched to the rear of the concept is a trailer that's been designed to look like the rear of the car that's towing it. Hidden within its confines is a large touchscreen display that's connected to the company's Uconnect Live entertainment system.
Using the big touchscreen, users can stream radio stations and music, respectively, via the TuneIn Radio and Deezer apps. The Reuters news service, TomTom's real-time traffic info, and social media networks Twitter and Facebook can also be browsed on the flip-up display.
The exterior of the show car itself has contrasting matte black alloy wheels, roof bars, wing mirrors, grille, bumpers, wheel-arch protectors and vents.
Mopar accessories, such as the car's running boards and tow bar, complement the Hard Steel's off-road tyres, raised suspension and bash plates.
Jeep says that, on the inside, the Hard Steel concept features a brushed metal look for its air vents, speaker grilles, glove box and transmission controls. The concept's seats and various other trim pieces, meanwhile, are covered in lead-coloured leather upholstery.
