Details of the new and updated Maserati models launching in Australia in 2015.
Maserati Levante – 2016
It won’t reach our shores until 2016, but the big news for Maserati in 2015 is the unveiling of it’s first SUV, the Levante.
Don’t let the spy images scare you: the Levante isn’t going to be a jacked-up Ghibli sedan. It will be based on Fiat Chrysler’s new all-steel, rear- and all-wheel-drive Giorgio platform, and should take design cues from the Kubang concept of 2011.
Maserati is known to have new V6 (368kW+), V8 (412kW+) and diesel (250kW) engines in the pipeline that could find their way under the bonnet of its new Cayenne chaser.
The Maserati Levante is expected to debut at September’s Frankfurt motor show.
