Mini drifted into world’s tightest parallel parking spot, 8cm longer than hatchback

Han Yue from China has drifted himself into Guinness Book of World Records by sliding a Mini hatchback into a parallel parking spot that was just eight centimetres longer than his car.

The feat, seen in the video above, took place during the China Drift Championship, which was hosted the other week at the Olympic Park in Chongqing.

Han broke the previous record of 8.6cm, which was set by Britain's Alastair Moffatt in 2013.

The Chinese stunt driver has a history with this world record, having piloted a car into a space just 15cm longer than his vehicle back in 2012.

Not content with just one Guinness world record, Han then teamed up with fellow stunt driver Zhang Shengjun from Taiwan to set the record for the most number of donuts, within a minute, around a car driving on two wheels.

For that record Zhang drifted a BMW M4 coupe around a Mini,, steered by Han, moving forward on just two wheels. Zhang was able to complete a total of 10 donuts in the pair's allotted 60 seconds.
