Lexus LF-A Spotted

Toyota fans rejoice, the Lexus V10 LF-A is going through late stages of development. WorldCarFans spotted a prototype doing laps at the Nürburgring.

The LF-A concept which first appeared in the 2005 Detroit Motorshow is roughly 2 inches shorter than a Porsche 911, but has a 9-inch longer wheelbase.

Power from the V10 engine is expected at around 350kW with a top speed of over 300km/hr. We expect Lexus to officially show off the LF-A at the motorshow in Frankfurt in September.

The next few years will three new supercars from the Japanese, the new Honda NSX, the mighty Skyline GT-R and the Lexus IS-F. Then there is the new Toyota Supra as well.

The new Lexus will take the fight to Audi’s new R8, the Nissan GT-R and of course Porsche’s 911. Lexus has unofficially hinted the car will go into a production run depending on demand. Expect to see a lot more of this next year.
