2015 Skoda Fabia headlight teased

Another piece of the 2015 Skoda Fabia puzzle has been released, with the headlight design of the Czech brand’s third-generation city car having been teased overnight.

The tightly cropped image – similar to a teaser of the 2015 Volvo XC90 released yesterday – uncovers the new Fabia’s projector beam headlamps, which sit above a thin LED daytime running light strip that runs along the headlight cluster’s lower edge.

Also visible is the corner of the baby Skoda’s grille, which connects to the headlights and features signature vertical slats and gloss black lining.

The latest teaser comes about four weeks after Skoda released an official design sketch of its new hatchback previewing the forthcoming model’s sharper lines, tauter body panels, and lower, wider, sportier stance. Spy shots have already revealed quite a lot of the new Fabia's look.

The new Skoda Fabia will debut at October’s Paris motor show before going on sale in Australia around the middle of 2015.

It’s set to be built on a variation of the existing car’s architecture, and will inherit powertrains, infotainment and interior components from the facelifted Volkswagen Polo, including its updated 1.2-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engines.
