These images, sent in by a CarAdvice reader, show for the first time how the new-look Falcon Ute (above) will appear when it makes its debut towards the end of this year. The vehicle seen in this image appears to be the entry-level Ute, as the lack of fog-lights and chrome trimmings, the black wing mirrors and the the caps on the steel wheels indicate.
The undisguised Ute was parked along with a number of other vehicles, including the already-revealed G6E model with chrome front trimmings and LED daytime running lights blazing. Both of those cars missing front number plates, indicating they may have been being used for photography or video advertising material.
The image below shows the rear of the G6E with trade plates fitted.
It's the same car as was seen in today's earlier CarAdvice post following an image being leaked on Facebook. It's clear from this image, however, that the G6E will be offered with rear parking sensors and a reverse-view camera.
Along with those vehicles was a camouflaged black model which is believed to be the new 2015 Falcon XR8. Giveaways include the quad exhaust tips - which Ford says have been “tuned for the sporty V8 exhaust note” and a low-lying deck-lid spoiler.
The company has also shown the first image of the final update to the Territory SUV ahead of production of both models finishing up in October 2016 when the company closes its doors on its local manufacturing operations.
