Holden offers five-year warranty, three-year free servicing on cars sold in July

Holden is offering a five-year warranty and three years of free servicing for all cars sold and delivered during July.

According to Holden, the free servicing deal covers the first three years or 60,000km of the car's life, whichever comes first, and is valid for the first four scheduled standard services. Owners must have the car serviced within 3000km or 90 days, whichever comes first, of its scheduled service date or risk losing the benefit.

The July warranty deal is good for five years or 130,000km, again for whichever comes by first.

A regular Holden warranty is three years or 100,000km. Typically extending the company's standard warranty to five years, while retaining the 100,000km limit, will set buyers back an extra $1230. An extended warranty covering five years and with a 175,000km limit is usually priced at $1415.

This extended warranty deal comes hot on the heels of recent good news for Holden on the sales front. The VF Commodore has maintained its recent sales momentum with 3156 sedans and wagons, along with 702 utes, finding new homes throughout June.

Helped by a plethora of end-of-financial-year deals, a total 12,332 Holden-badged vehicles were sold last month, placing the lion brand second behind Toyota, which registered 20,808 sales for June.

Alongside this warranty and servicing offer, Holden is also offering driveaway pricing for select Barina Spark, Barina, Cruze, Malibu, Trax, Colorado, Colorado 7, Captiva and Commodore ute models.
