FPV GT F revealed further in new teaser images

Ford Performance Vehicles has released a series of teaser images of the FPV GT F on social media ahead of its launch on June 10.

The images, posted to FPV’s Facebook page over the past week, reveal the farewell model’s grille and GT F badges, 351-stamped engine cover, red and black build number badges, and matte black lower door decals.

The $77,990 GT F and $52,990 Pursuit will be the final models ever built by FPV before production winds up at the end of the year. The Campbellfield-based manufacturer will build 670 of the limited-edition models for customers in Australia and New Zealand, including 550 sedans and 120 utes.

Ford Australia president and CEO Bob Graziano revealed at this start of the month FPV had already received build number requests for more than 200 vehicles, and admitted the response had “amazed” dealers.

At the time, Ford said one dealer had already sold out of its allocation of 12 GT F sedans and had turned away six hopeful customers, and had also sold three of its four Pursuit utes.

The FPV GT F will become the most powerful GT-badged Ford Falcon ever produced by Ford Australia, producing 351kW of power and 570Nm of torque from its supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine.

The Pursuit will feature a slightly tamer 315kW/545Nm tune of the same engine.

The GT F will wear 19-inch alloy wheels with nine-inch-wide Dunlop tyres at the rear, and six-piston front and four-piston rear Brembo brakes.
