2015 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG spy photos
The most revealing images of the generation AMG version of Mercedes-Benz C-Class has been taken by our photographer in Sweden.
Though mostly camouflaged at the front to hide the massive air intakes in the front bumper, there' still a lot to see here.
From the back it's easy to notice the iconic quad exhaust pipes, which now house an integrated diffuser between them for the first time.
Though it's not wearing any badges - and we know it'll keep the C63 name despite the engine change - it's clear to see that the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG has a more powerful and muscular appearance with its wider body and lower suspension.
Under the hood sits a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 with at least 336kW of power (450 HP) and likely to get up to around 373kW when optioned with the performance package. The current car has 336kW and 600Nm in standard trim and Mercedes-Benz c 63 AMG 507 Edition (which replaced the performance pack) has 372kW and 620Nm
The same 4.0-litre engine will also be used in the upcoming Mercedes-Benz AMG GT sportscar.
Expect the Mercedes C63 AMG to make it´s public debut at the Paris Motor Show in October
