Maserati Alfieri concept leaked : New F-Type rivalling sports coupe takes shape

The Italian brand's stunning new showcar was hinted at last week when the brand suggested it would bring a sports car concept that would offer  “a nod to the styling of Maseratis over the next 100 years”.

Images uploaded to Italian website Autopareri  show just how that styling will look on a possible new production small sports coupe that may - there's a gaping, angular front grille with spaced out vertical slats, large offset air intakes and slim headlights.

Maserati's trademark bulging haunches and sleek lines are present, while a dipping window line that kicks back up towards the rear end is unlike anything we've seen before from the Italian brand. The rear shot of the concept car shows just how broad its hips are, and highlights a more mature and subtle styling than is seen on the current GranTurismo coupe.
