Alfa Romeo Giulietta QV : Quadrofoglio Verde spy photos

Our European spy photographers have managed to catch a glimpse of the facelifted Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrofoglio Verde, which we suspect will make its debut at next week's Geneva motor show.

The Giulietta QV, the hot-hatch at the top of Alfa Romeo's small car range, has been criticised by some for appearing too similar to the standard car, which explains the more aggressive facelift seen here. As you can see, the driven is not exactly thrilled about our photographer taking photos.

Plastic cladding disguises revisions to the front bumper, side sills and rear bumper, while the the rear spoiler also appears to have grown and the side mirrors look more sculptured than before.

Rumours suggest the updated QV may benefit from the more powerful turbocharged 1.75-litre four-cylinder petrol engine found in the upcoming Alfa Romeo 4C. The 4C produces 176kW and 350Nm, putting it just ahead of the existing 173kW/340Nm Giulietta QV.

More details will emerge from Geneva next week and CarAdvice will be there in force to bring you the latest.
