Mazda 3 : Kuroi pack sports up small car

Fans longing for an all-new Mazda 3 MPS face an indefinite wait for a new-gen hot-hatch, but in the meantime can order a racy Kuroi styling pack to sport up regular variants of the small car.

Available on all grades in both sedan and hatchback body styles, the Kuroi pack (‘black’ in Japanese) adds a number of exterior styling enhancements to the third-generation Mazda 3.

At $2678, the Mazda 3 Kuroi pack adds a front under spoiler, side skirts, rear under spoiler, mirror caps and 18-inch alloy wheels, all with a Brilliant Black finish.

The package offers the best value on the entry-level Mazda 3 Neo, which is the only grade in the line-up to miss out on alloy wheels (it comes standard with 16-inch steel wheels).

Adding the Kuroi pack to the Neo takes the price to $23,168, while the cheapest 2.5-litre variant, the SP25, can be ordered with the styling package from $28,568.

Mazda says the parts that make up the Kuroi pack can all be ordered individually and can be fitted by all Australian dealerships.
