The websites named ‘GM Facts and Fiction’ addresses concerns and FAQs about the brand's future in both North America and Europe.
“News and opinion about GM Europe, Opel, and Vauxhall is everywhere - TV, press, online sites and blogs. There is some fair and informed reporting supported by facts but unfortunately there is also misinformation, uninformed opinion, myths and urban legends that we read and hear,” GM’s Denis Chick said. “To encourage fact-based reporting and informed discussion we have just launched a site where we list some of the more popular myths and answer them with facts.”
The websites tackle such concerns as GM’s viability plan for Opel and Vauxhall, the state of its North American operations and the role of US government aid.
