Lexus IS concepts headed to 2013 SEMA show

Lexus has revealed its 2013 SEMA show line-up ahead of the cars' official unveiling in Las Vegas tomorrow.

The Japan-based manufacturer's show stand will feature eight bespoke Lexus IS concepts (six new-generation cars as well as two first- and second-gen models) and a modified Lexus LFA.

Included in Lexus’ line-up is the unique IS designed by Robert Evans, the winner of a competition run jointly by the car maker and DeviantArt. Evans’ winning concept, which was selected ahead of more than 600 other entries, features distinctive aero package, custom paint job, three-piece wheels and a carbonfibre interior.

The concept was taken from rendering to reality in 10 weeks with the help of California-based modification specialist VIP Auto Salon.

Other highlights include two third-generation Lexus IS350 F Sport concepts by Vossen/Tommy Kaira and Seibon Carbon, and a wide-body IS250 F Sport by Paul Tolson/Gabriel Escobedo.

Lexus’ nine SEMA models will be debut alongside concepts from Ford, Hyundai, Mazda, and a host of other manufacturers from November 5.
