Korres Project 4: 7.0L Corvette heart for Greek supercar

A one-off Greek supercar dubbed the Korres Project 4 is set to be unleashed at a motorsport event in its homeland this weekend.

Created by architect and designer Dimitris Korres, the Project 4 borrows its 377kW/637Nm 7.0-litre 'LS7' V8 from the Chevrolet Corvette Z06, which catapults the low-slung sports car's 1600kg mass from 0-100km/h in 3.8 seconds and on to a top speed of 300km/h.

At 3920mm long, 1960mm wide, 1250mm tall, and riding on a 2560mm wheelbase, the Korres Project 4 is 320mm shorter and 185mm wider than a Toyota 86, creating a stocky, square stance for the hardcore sports concept.

Few other details have been revealed at this stage, other than that the Project 4 features an adjustable suspension system that can raise the car’s ride height by 400mm to help it negotiate speed humps and other urban obstacles.

More details of the Korres Project 4 will be revealed at its public unveiling on June 16.
