Citroen Technospace concept: future C4 Picasso headed to Geneva

The Citroen Technospace concept will make its way to next month's Geneva motor show, revealing the French manufacturer's future design direction for its upcoming compact MPV due to be released in the second half of 2013.

Previewing the next Citroen C4 Picasso, the 4430mm-long, 1830mm-wide, and 1610mm-tall Citroen Technospace concept incorporates LED headlights, 3D-effect tail-lights, a “full-touch” driving interface with high-definition 12-inch panoramic screen, a claimed boot capacity of 537 litres, and CO2 emissions of 98 grams per kilometre – the latter made possible with the help of the car’s new lightweight Efficient Modular Platform 2 (EMP2).

Citroen says since 1999 it has sold almost three million Picasso vehicles worldwide, spread across the Xsara Picasso, C4 Picasso, Grand C4 Picasso and C3 Picasso nameplates.

The 2013 Geneva international motor show starts on March 5.
