Renault extends BioFuel model range

The Renault Modus (not yet available in Australia) and Kangoo now include an E85 bioethanol fuelled option as part of the range, adding to E85 powered Clio and Mégane models which are already available.

E85 bioethanol is both economical and ecological and, in addition to enjoying favourable pump prices in the majority of European countries, it reduces well-to-wheel CO2 emissions by as much as 70 per cent.

Renault's E85 vehicles are flexible too since, like many other cars of this kind, they are capable of running on either E85 fuel or unleaded petrol.

Although availability of E85 here in Australia is very limited at this stage, E10 bioethanol fuel is readily available.
