Standard across the range from the entry-level $39,990 Lexus CT200h Prestige model is Bluetooth connectivity with enhanced iPod functionality, digital radio, instrument lighting and tachometer linked to the Drive Mode Select system, and electrically retractable mirrors.
The $50,990 F Sport and $57,990 Sport Luxury variants both now include an electronically adjustable passenger seat, while a Mark Levinson audio system is standard fit in the top-spec model and available for F Sport models as part of an enhancement pack that also includes parking sensors and a moon roof.
All models with Lexus’ satellite navigation receive an update to a hard drive-based system with live traffic alerts and new user interface graphics, superseding the old DVD-based unit.
Model-wide suspension revisions, specifically to shock absorbers, have also taken place in the pursuit of better ride compliance in the hybrid-powered hatch. The addition of two new colours – White Nova on F Sport models only and Premium Silver – complete the list of the new Lexus CT200h changes.
The hybrid’s 73kW/142Nm 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine, 60kW/207Nm electric motor, and continuously variable transmission (CVT), all remain unaltered.
With only one month left in 2012, 1413 Lexus CT200h models have been sold this year, up 204 units on the same time last year.
